ACE Europe is a consultancy firm for European and international cooperation. ACE Europe provides services to NGOs for development cooperation and to government institutions (local governments, ministries for development cooperation, agencies for technical assistance, the European Commission, and so on ). The ACE Europe team provides advice and consultancy by way of organisational support, training, practically oriented research and the evaluation of projects. The aim is to improve development cooperation and to strengthen the capacity of both individuals and organisations implementing development projects. ACE Europe is primarily focused on projects dealing with local development and possesses specific expertise concerning local governance, and more particularly, cooperation between local governments and civil society aimed a more effective basic service delivery. Development education is a second domain of expertise. Over the last years, ACE Europe has been quite active as well in dealing with HIV/AIDS mainstreaming processes in development organisations. ACE Europe is active within the EU, the CIS-countries, Africa and Latin America. ACE Europe's permanent team works with an extensive network of freelance consultants and consultancy firms and so ensures a multi-disciplinary approach and a wide regional distribution. |
